Dear Family,
Hope you are all well.
We wish to invite you to our wedding on 2nd July 2017 and have included our wedding itinerary plan below.
There will be no events held, in Lusaka or Kitwe, prior to the wedding. All events including the wedding will be held in Livingstone. Both families will be in Livingstone a week before to overlook any last minute preparation and logistics.
We therefore request all families and guests to arrive in Livingstone by the Friday, 30th June 2017.
Dates of Events:
Friday 30th June 2017
- This is the expected date of arrival/check-in by everyone attending the wedding especially all immediate and close families and friends. There are no events held on this day and it will be a casual relaxed day as everyone may all have different arrival times. This will allow any families who have travelled long distances to acclimatise to the time zone and be fresh for the next day’s event.
Saturday 1st July 2017
- Ganesh Puja, Pithi, Satek etc for Haniksha and Dhruv between morning and mid-afternoon
- Mehndi event for Haniksha and the ladies in the afternoon
- Musical entertainment night in the evening
Sunday 2nd July 2017
- Wedding in the morning
- Reception in the evening
Monday 3rd July 2017
- Guests depart after breakfast
- Family only event (3-6pm)
Most guests are expected to check out on the Monday, 3rd July 2017, however, we request immediate families to please extend your stay by one extra day and join us for a family only event on the Monday, 3rd July 2017. This will be a casual relaxed day for all families to chill, tour the area and do some activities prior to the event. The family only event will allow both sides to mingle with each other. More information on the family only event will be provided upon arrival in Livingstone. Shhhhh…this is only for immediate families, so keep it hush hush! ;-)
Tuesday 4th July 2017- Friday 7th July 2017
- Depending on the duration of your stay, should you want to stay on in Livingstone after the wedding for the above dates the hotel rates will still apply.
There will be a proposed plan to hold a Reception in Kitwe on the Saturday 8th July 2017 (time and venue to be confirmed) which we would like for you to all attend if possible as this will be held to welcome Haniksha into the Sampat family.
Please confirm your attendance by 1st January 2017 as this will allow us to plan accordingly and initiate the second phase of invites, so you all get first priority.
Accommodation Rates:
All functions including the wedding and reception will be held at Chrismar Hotel in Livingstone and discounted group rates have been organised for all guests. These special accommodation rates are inclusive from Friday 30th June – Monday 3rd July 2017.
· Standard room (double or twin) – ZMW 1130.00 (~ $113)
· Junior Suite – ZMW 1270.00 (~ $127)
· Executive Room – ZMW 4000.00 (~ $400)
The cut-off date to book rooms is 31st March 2017; however, we advise all immediate families to secure your rooms ASAP as due to the limited amount of rooms available families have been given first priority to secure their rooms.
These special accommodation rates will be open to all other guests by January 2017, after which it shall be on a first come first serve basis.
