Celebrate Hemp History Week (May 17th-23rd) by feeding your stomach
and your brain. Join Good Seed Organic and Resolution Gardens at Brave
New Books-1904 Guadalupe St.- for a pot-luck party on Sunday May 23rd.
4-7pm

Learn about Hemp's history of environmental and health benefits.
Bring a dish to share. We encourage dish items made with Hemp, Super
Foods and Local ingredients or from your own backyard! There will be
special samplings of Hemp inspired foods. We will be screening "Hemp
for Victory" -a black-and-white film made by the United States
government!!! during World War II, explaining the uses of hemp and
encouraging farmers to grow as much as possible. (hmmmm....what's up
with that?) You can also sign the petition to bring back hemp farming
in America.
