Customer-Facing Solution Architect – B2C/D2C Focus
About the Role
We are looking for a seasoned Customer-Facing Solution Architect with a strong multi-technology background and experience in B2C/D2C domains. In this role, you will lead solution discovery and architecture engagements with customers across USA, engaging and influencing both business and IT stakeholders.
You will bring together your technical experience, strong communication skills, and business acumen to recommend robust, scalable solutions across digital channels such as web and mobile — involving front end, backend services, data, integrations, security typically hosted on cloud and/or on-prem environments.
Key Responsibilities
Lead solution architecture conversations with enterprise B2C/D2C customers across industries such as retail, eCommerce, OTT and healthcare
Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to understand challenges, define requirements, and design modern, customer-centric solutions
Recommend and architect solutions across web, mobile, API layers, and backend systems, including AI-driven capabilities, personalization and analytics
Evaluate and design cloud-native, hybrid, and on-premise architecture leveraging platforms like Azure and AWS
Define integration strategies across systems, services, and data platforms
Lead or participate in technical workshops, discovery sessions, architecture reviews and requirement meetings
Contribute to proposal development, RFP responses, and technical sales efforts in collaboration with sales and delivery teams
Keep pace with emerging technologies, particularly in AI/ML, chatbots and LCNC platforms
Originate and support deals
Qualifications and Skills
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent.
15+ years of experience across technology architecture, solution design and enterprise consulting roles
Has direct consulting / IT services experience and managed sales pursuits pertaining to the same
Strong experience in multi-technology environments, including modern front-end, backend, API/Microservices, and cloud platforms
Exposure to AI/ML, especially in customer-facing applications like chatbots and Gen AI based solutions
Good experience in data migration, transformation and integrations across different products and tools
Proven track record designing and delivering solutions across digital channels — especially web and mobile for B2C/D2C brands
Strong understanding of customer journeys, digital experience platforms, eCommerce ecosystems and MACH architecture
Drive security focus and implementations across solutions
Deep familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS/Azure and on-premise enterprise systems
Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and written communication skills — with the ability to influence both business and technology decisions
Comfortable engaging C-level and senior stakeholders such as CDO/CTO/CMO as a trusted partner
Based in the USA/Canada with ability to travel occasionally for key customer meetings
