Job Title: UI Frontend Solution Architect
Location: Plano, TX (5 Days Onsite)
Duration: 6 Months
Experience: 15+ Yrs
Description
As the UI Frontend Architect, you will serve as the primary technical authority
for our web ecosystem, bridging the gap between high-level Enterprise
Architecture and team-level execution. Your mission is to define a scalable,
framework-agnostic vision that ensures consistency, security, and elite
performance across all digital products. You will act as the strategic
gatekeeper for new enhancements, ensuring every implementation aligns with our
long-term architectural roadmap and Cloud-native infrastructure.
Required Qualifications & Skills
• Architectural Vision: 10+ years of frontend experience, with 3+
years in a dedicated Architectural or Principal-level role.
• Framework Agnostic Expertise: Deep understanding of modern UI frameworks
(e.g., React, Angular, Vue) and the ability to define cross-framework
standards.
• Micro-Frontend Mastery: Proven experience implementing and scaling
Microfrontend architectures using Module Federation, Web Components, or similar
orchestration techniques.
• Cloud-Native Proficiency: Strong understanding of deploying frontend
applications using modern cloud services (e.g., AWS S3/CloudFront, Azure Static
Web Apps) and Edge computing.
• Analytical Depth: Exceptional ability to critique Low-Level Designs and
identify potential bottlenecks or technical debt before development begins.
• Communication Mastery: Proven track record of influencing Enterprise
Architecture boards and stakeholders while effectively guiding engineering
teams.
Requirements
• Modern Tooling Ecosystem: Hands-on experience with React for building
complex UIs and Vite for high-performance bundling and development workflows.
• Component Documentation: Experience using Storybook to build, document,
and test UI components in isolation to facilitate a design-system-first
approach.
• Design Systems: Experience with Headless UI architectures and maintaining
shared component libraries.
• Web Security & Accessibility: Strong knowledge of CORS, CSP, XSS
prevention, and WCAG accessibility standards.
• CI/CD Automation: Familiarity with automated testing and deployment
pipelines for complex multi-repo or monorepo environments
Core Responsibilities:
• Architectural Governance: Collaborate with Enterprise Architecture to align
frontend strategies with global infrastructure. Define the high-level roadmap
for the frontend stack, including Cloud-native deployment strategies and
serverless integration.
• Micro-Frontend Orchestration: Design and manage the strategy for
Microfrontends, ensuring seamless orchestration, shared state management, and
independent deployment cycles across distributed teams.
• Design & Code Quality: Perform rigorous reviews of Low-Level Designs
(LLD) and source code. Ensure implementations adhere to architectural
standards, scalability requirements, and clean code principles.
• Pattern Standardization: Establish and document Standard Design Patterns
(e.g., Component-Driven Development, Modular Architecture, State Management) to
be followed by the entire development organization.
• Estimation & Scoping: Critically review and validate the Level of Effort
(LOE) for new enhancement requests. Ensure technical feasibility and identify
potential architectural risks during the discovery phase.
• R&D and Product Evaluation: Proactively evaluate third-party products,
SaaS integrations, and emerging frameworks. Lead Proof of Concepts (POCs) to
determine the ROI of adopting new tools or services.
• Technical Mentorship: Provide ongoing technical guidance to lead developers,
fostering a culture of excellence and architectural integrity.
