Job Responsibilities

Responsibilities

  

·         A Mainframe Developer required in developing and maintaining applications on mainframe systems, typically using languages like COBOL, JCL, and CICS.

·         Strong knowledge of DB2. What are the key responsibilities of a Mainframe Developer in Defect Squad

·         Key responsibilities will include coding, testing, debugging, and maintaining mainframe applications, resolving data defects as well as collaborating with other product teams to ensure system performance.

  

Qualifications

  

·         Skills required include proficiency in COBOL, JCL, CICS, DB2, problem-solving abilities, and experience with mainframe tools and utilities.

·         Creating high-performance, mission-critical applications Analyzing user requirements and developing software solutions

·         Ensuring software applications meet all performance and security requirements

·         Working with other developers to create high-performance, scalable applications

·         Researching new technologies and software development trends Providing technical support and troubleshooting
