HiI'm having a problem playing GTA San Andreas via DXWnd again. I have installed the modloader in the game, but when I turn it on it gives me the error "std.asi: translator.SetupASI failed to identify caller ASI!". Without DXWnd the game works without any problems.

From the readme of modloader it says that ASI loader is needed. This ASI loader is a dll file (likely a wrapper). So if the game does not function with Dxwnd anymore then it is probably some kind of conflict with the ASI loader wrapper dll.

I don't know. Perhaps there is someway to configure Dxwnd and/or API loader to run together. Alternatively it could be that a code change in Dxwnd or API loader would be needed. Or it might be impossible / unfeasible.

From the asi loader description ( -ASI-Loader ) it seems that this program hooks libraries into the target program, so it may easily conflict with DxWnd when they both try to make the same type of operations.

Chances of conflict may be reduced if we know what would be the role of DxWnd in this combination, so that excluding as much as possible the DxWnd features it may be possible to mix DxWnd and asi loader with no problems, though I honestly doubt this would be possible.

Anyway the question is: what are you using DxWnd for? Maybe I can suggest a configuration that does the bare minimum requested operations and works.

My usual (bad) luck. I probably picked the wrong files (maybe it was a pre-patched widescreen release?) that gives me an error on startup with a dialog box:

Cannot find 800x600x32 video mode

and this happens with and without DxWnd. I will have to get rid of this problem before ...

Debugging the problem I sadly see that the controls made in the assembly where the error is generated can't be simply bypassed, so I will have to think carefully about it. It would help much if the source code for std.asi.dll was available, I'll try this path as well.

As Tesla DeLorean (Community Member) mentioned: When internal flash is empty, the CPU will run into hard fault and halt right after reset. As soon as you've programmed the internal flash, the CPU will start initialization of peripherals, RAM etc. which certainly will interfere with the external loader.

So, if you don't want to touch your application (delay after reset), the debugger must connect under reset and halt the CPU right out of reset. And, of course, beware of watchdogs: If automatic activation after reset is enabled ...

I have 6 months i used CLEO 3 without problems, but i was bored of it and decided to upgrade to CLEO 4. I downloaded the latest version of it and installed it. Also i removed all old scripts from the game. But when tried to open GTA San Andreas, an error showed up: Error loading plugin CLEO.asi, and after that the crash message of gta_sa.exe showed up again.

I don't know what caused this problem, i uninstalled and reinstalled the clean GTA San Andreas, installed again CLEO 4, but still the error persists. I use v1.0 US cracked exe (HOODLUM release) and tried the compact exe, but not fixed. What may cause this problem?

Installed the latest CLEO 4 version, deleted it's respective ASI loader, the game loaded successfully but no version showing in Menu and none of the scripts worked, so i reverted back again to the previous version of CLEO 4.

All seem to be fine in my small test project, but when i use this loader in my big project(client-server application that use spring+hibernate and IoC) doesn't work.I have not a particolar exception in my classloader, but for example, new Socket instance throw a "java.net.ConnectException: Connection refused" without a real reason...

I have set my classloader in spring ClassPathXmlApplicationContext and now i notice that spring uses my classloader to load beans class, but despite this it throws an org.springframework.beans.factory.NoSuchBeanDefinitionException becouse it cannot find beans... what can i do?Thanks

I'm not very good at class loaders, but from you code it's only possible to assume, that in case your class loader can't find a class, it will redirect to system class loader. It may work fine when you run application standalone, like in your sample, but if it's a web application that is run on application server it will fail.

Application servers usually create a big hierarchy of class loaders and has a separate class loader used to load your application classes. In this case, system class loader knows nothing about your Spring related classes and thus can't load them.

Besides the actual size of the vehicles, the automation of functions plays a key role. Adjustable automatic loading and unloading allows the controller to adapt to the mode of operation, thereby achieving maximum efficiency. Our software ensures the loader wagon can also be used simply and reliably as a silage trailer or combination trailer. Thanks to the integrated diagnostic function, the vehicle status can be checked at any time.

Hi,

I wanted to ask if it would be possible to change the viewer loader to a custom image.

In particular, for the development of a direct embedding solution (I mean by ticket id), I would like a custom image to appear, instead of the grey ShapeDiver logo, when loading the model in the viewer.

San Andreas Mod Loader is an ASI plugin for Grand Theft Auto San Andreas, which greatly simplifies the installation of any modifications.

Its main feature is that the files of the original game are not affected in any way, and backups are no longer necessary.

To install any modification, it is enough to throw a file / folder into the modloader folder, and enjoy the game. Everything is described in more detail in the ReadMe, which, unfortunately, is in English. However, it is very easy to understand.

The usage is simple, you just have to create one or more folders inside modloader directory and then drop the mod contents there. It's done. It is recommended to have one folder for each modification you have.

Do not replace ANY original file, never, really. Let Mod Loader take care of everything. Data files merging. Therefore you can for example have 70 handling.cfg files at modloader and they'll all work perfectly fine.

Having learned to sew with a sewing machine on both the front loading sewing machines at school and on my mothers temperamental 'Brother' machine, I have only ever had experience of front loaders to go by and I have to say that thread tension and awkwardness of loading were two of my biggest issues. Having been bought a top-loading Auto-tensioning Singer by my partner for Christmas I am a convert - I ADORE my new machine. The Auto-tensioning makes life SO much easier (although you can set manual tension for different fabrics and feet if you need to). The top loading bobbin is simple to install and, crucially, it is easy to keep track of how much thread is left on the bobbin - I've lost count of the number of times I've been happily sewing away and the thread on my bobbin has run out mid-seam. Perhaps this is poor preparation on my part but I hate waste and will try to use as much thread as I can before refilling my bobbin and being able to see it really helps me plan better so my seams are all sewn with one continuous line. It really helps not having to worry about the bobbin case too - getting the tension right on this was always a pain - a fraction too much or too little and I'd end up with messed up seams and mangled fabric. That is not to say that I consider the top loader superior, simply that I sew for enjoyment and fighting with a bobbin is not fun. The top loader takes all the hassle out of getting set up and ready to sew and I can spend more time focussing on the sewing than on fiddling about with tiny screwdrivers.

I think many people feel the way you do. And I'm glad you love your machine.

I tend to wear out machines, so need the sturdiest thing I can find. But I know many people who love their drop in bobbins.

Thanks for writing.

I am a pensioner so have seen many incarnations of sewing machines. I first learned to sew on my mother's old Singer which like the current ones had top loading bobbins and it was so easy I loved it. I was then given my aunt's Vesta with its beautiful top loading shuttle bobbin, the beautiful workmanship was as good as the performance (I still have and use that machine). Then when the children were small I bought a Jones front loader, fiddly bobbin but beautiful work horse of a machine took everything in it's stride from denim jeans to lace applique. (Still have that too) Now in retirement I thought I would treat myself to one of the new Brother machines AE2500 with drop in bobbin so easy takes me back to the Singer, I think I love it best.

Very interesting - I thought the top loading bobbins were completely new. Were the old ones top loading bobbins plastic, as the modern ones are, or were they more robust? Until I read your post, I definitely wanted a side/front loading bobbin because they seem more robust and because I thought they were the only type that were previously used and which had stood the test of time - and I did not want a drop in/top load bobbin. Now not so sure.

I have always used machines with front-load bobbins. However, recently my Singer gave up the ghost and I had to get a new machine. I chose one with a top-loading bobbin. For me, the machine seemed to have the features I needed and I figured a top-bobbin would be a plus. So far, I have loved having the top-bobbin machine. It is still a Singer, and it does gorgeous work. Honestly, I can hardly tell the difference; other than having to remove the tray to get to the bobbin on the front loading machine to both see how much thread is left and to wind. I seem to lean more toward the top-loader.
