Position: Front End / UI / ReactJS Developer

Location: Kirkland, WA

Duration: 6+ months

 

Job Description:

Software Engineer (front-end)

 

We're looking for a passionate software engineer that loves JavaScript and Front End Engineering, has strong analytical skills and cutting edge coding skills and has a passion for detail. You should live and breathe OO JavaScript (not just jQuery), REACT.JS, CSS, and HTML5, and have experience and understanding of web technologies/frameworks new and old. As a full-stack engineer, your duties will include working on Node.JS server-side development.

 

The right individual will be self-driven and should care about understanding our customers’ needs and how to solve their problems and make them successful. Transforming ideas, designs and sketches to easy into use and performant software. Someone who cares about maintainability of the code, automation, deployment processes and how to enable innovation in those areas. They will go beyond just coding and help to shape the Front End engineering culture and best practices here at GoDaddy.

 

You will have an active role on defining and building our some key cross group UI components, at time building reusable widget libraries. Another important attribute of this role is to help contribute code and our learnings (good and bad) back to the Open Source community. Check our GitHub page: http://github.com/godaddy.

• 3+ years professional development experience

• Excellent understanding of web technologies: HTML, HTTP, JavaScript, css, REACT.JS

• A keen eye for design details

• Strong communication skills
