Right around the bend

[The Primate Fiasco]

May was interesting. We opened for one of our favorite bands in the
Universe at the Iron Horse, The Dirty Dozen Brass Band. We played a
fun set (which you can hear on our website) and then towards the end
of their set, they invited us up to jam with them. Schweet. It made an
actual dozen. In other news, we hosted our first open mic at bishops
which was oodles of fun. Tuesdays open mic was fun enough that we've
agreed to host all 5 Tuesdays in June. More about that below.

THIS SATURDAY - May 30
Hilltown Spring Festival, Cummington Fairgrounds
Many bands from 10am to 6pm. I do believe we're going close to last,
but you should still come early because it's going to be fun.
No admission, $5 per car if you park in the lot.

Saturday - June 6
Stephs Wild Ride, Tri-County Fairgrounds, Northampton
This is an event put on by one family to raise money for people
battling cancer. They did a great job last year and this year they
have enlisted our help. There will be a Motorcycle ride, poker
tournament, games, FREE FOOD, and of course, live music by The Primate
Fiasco, Bear Mountain, and Wild Stallions. If you'd like to

Saturday - June 20
Taste of Amherst. The event is Thurs-Sun. We play on Sat.

Saturday - June 27
Green River Brew Festival.
In the parking lot of Ryan and Casey Liquors. Brewers from around the
country set up booths. Here's how it works. You pay $20 to get in and
they hand you a small beer glass. You can walk around all day trying
as many different kinds of beer as you want for no additional charge.
Yummy, reasonably priced food is also available but the beer flows for
free. The event goes from 12-6pm. We will be running the stage,
playing most of the time with some guests here and there.

TUESDAYS through June
Open Mic at Bishops Lounge
There are 5 tuesdays in june. We'll be hosting the open mic which
means we'll play some and you'll play some. Be there by 9pm to sign
up. They don't kick us out until 2am but they can't let you in after
1am. No cover. 21+
