Summer is just about over. The band is tired, the van mechanic is
wealthy, and hopefully everyone who wants a CD has one. Here's what's
on tap for the next month or two. These will change a bit, so be sure
to check our schedule on our site if you feel like coming out to party
with us. http://theprimatefiasco.com/schedule.html

But before we get to our schedule, a few SOS shouts. If anyone is
listening..

WE NEED A REHEARSAL SPACE
Does anyone know of a place for free or for trade that we could have a
weekly rehearsal? We wont need to leave anything there. But while we
are there for a few hours a week, we will bring in a small drum kit
and then the horns. It has to be somewhat temperature controlled for
the winter and we'll need a tiny bit of electricity. If anyone has any
ideas, please let us know.

CALLING ALL BRASS
Our schedules are getting busier. We like to have musicians to fill in
if possible but it's not all that easy when you're talkin brass. If
you know anyone who plays TUBA, TROMBONE, TRUMPET, CLARINET, SAX,
BANJO and would like to be a part time member of The Primate Fiasco,
hit us up.

OK, the schedule________

Hey Primates!

Noah here from Shokazoba, responding to your call for Brass. You might
know me as the alto sax-ist (and sometime folkie guitar player) who
sat in with you on the City Hall steps and tends to hang out around
the Bishop's open mike. So yes, I can do any weekend gigs. Just let me
know in advance as soon as you can so I-and-I can adjust me schedule
accordingly. ;) Big ups!

Greetings, Primates!
It's your lucky day---
I play a solid tenor  banjo,  am a quick study, and a have a degree in Music. I'd like to be considered for membership in your band.  Dave knows me.  Also--I have a basement music studio that may be a good rehearsal space for you--it is insulated and even has a bathroom!  When do you need it?
Await reply,
Diane Sanabria

Ah, another alto player comes out of the woodwork! Do you live in Amherst or Noho? If so we should shed together sometime. Peace. Noah (from Shokazoba)

I live in Whately. That would be great. I'm always looking for jams. I play mostly tenor.

Awesome, that rocks. I'm moving to Noho in two days so after the hubbub dies down we should definitely meet up.

Also, don't know if you know this, but Adam Scotera has taken an extended break from Shokazoba to have his second child. The tenor spot is open if you're interested. Practices are on Sunday night and we've got a few gigs coming up!

Cheers,
Noah

are you around tomorrow? We're playing at the river valley market, the
new food coop. They're having a 1st anniversary party and we're
playing in the parking lot. Feel free to bring your horn. Any time
from 6:30-8pm is going to be mostly time filling improv, so it would
be fun to jam with you. Let me know. 413-320-6250

Dave
