Hi Folks,

 

We got a superb respone. We collected a total amount of Rs 32000/- and still counting. We received response from many places to say Ahmedabad , Bengaluru , Chennai , Hyderabad , Maharashtra.

And from Chennai we collected around 6000 Rs/- ( Chennai Rocks...Mind It...I SAY ! )

 

Yesterday evening we visited SIRIA , as per the discussion with Mr. Malyadri ( Care taker and Founder of SIRIA ) 

 

* As of now there are no worries about Food material and Books, some donors have come forward for the cause. 

* We are not sure of the clothes requirements, as he repeatedly insisting on moving to the new building as soon as possible inorder to avoid this sort of disaster again.

 

All the 100 students have to be accomadated in 4 rooms vailable. The roof was continously leaking as it was of raining yesterday in Hyd. So we decided to help him in moving to the New Building ASAP.

 

The New Building is almost complete , only about 5% of work is left.  Left out work includes, completion of Compound wall and Bathrooms. All this requires about 50000Rs/-. We are working to gather complete amount. Any one who would like contribute is always welcome.

 

Apart from Clothes and New Building we need your suggestion on how to use the such big amount . Any thing that you think children should have. Please come up with suggestions.

 

Also we want to keep a track of all the details donations made. So please send me a indivudual mail with details of the amount donated.

 

We will soon send out the pics of our visit ot SIRIA soon. .

Hi Folks,

 

We need your immediate support to help a Residential School for Oraphans( SIRIA ). Due to the recent heavy rainfall in Hyd , SIRIA was completed drowned with water and all the children had to be moved to a different location (Saroornagar ) in city. But all the basic material in the residential school like Clothes , Books , Computer hard ware and Food material is washed away.There is no Big support for the organisation , its only with support from people like us the oraganisation runs. Now the Organisation is in need of support from us , their immediate requirement is clothes for children.. The Oraganisation supports 100 children of age group 3 to 14 yrs. Elder girls are really finding it hard. Our rough estimation shows a required help of 20000Rs/-.  But 20000Rs is a big amount , and a immediate help required , so we are trying to reach out all the quaters possible for the help.

 

We have promised to help him by tuesday ie., 08/09/2009 with amount possible for us.

 

Any small  help towards this good cause would be really great. You can drop the amount at the below mentioned Account.We would personally give the amount to SIRIA on tuesday , 08/09/2009.

SIRIA is an  Residentails School for Orphans started by Mr.Malyadri .

We are a group of friends from Hyd under name " BHRATA " wanting to help unpriveledged children. In our search to help unpriveledged children we came across SIRIA a committed oraganisation to support and bring up unpriviledged children. We visited the SIRIA for the first time in the month of  January 2009. It was very self sufficient oraganisation their only worry being that the Residential School Building was below ground level so always a  threat of being drowned with water during heavy rainfall. Now a new building for SIRIA is under construction at Vanasthalipuram, hyd but is facing financial difficulties. This help demanded a lot money, so we were not sure on how to proceed.

Hi All,

 

We have collected a total amount of 40000 Rs as of today. And we believe we should make rest of the required amount soon. With this belief we are going ahead with construction.

 

We spoke to Mr. Malyadri today and if the things go as planned work would start the work by the end of the week.

 

In the first phase we are going ahead with an investment of 28000Rs ( rough estimation ). Rs 18000 of the total will go for the two truck loads of bricks and the rest of 10000 Rs will go for cement , around 50 bags. We will get exact expenditure sheet tomorrow when we personally visit SIRIA.

 

If work continous without any problems ,  the new building should be completely ready within 2 months.

 

I would like to share few photos of our recent and earlier visits to SIRIA. Attached are the photos. I would send out some more pictures of new ( uunder construction ) and old building soon.
