We are thrilled that both Chris Knestrick, Director of the Northeast Homeless Coalition, and Will Fenton-Jones, Director of Multicultural Ministries, Ohio Episcopal Area of the United Methodist Church, both noted speakers and advocates for the poor and marginalized, have agreed to speak. Additionally, representatives of the Food Bank of Greater Cleveland will be present to lead us through a poverty simulation exercise.

This promises to be an informative and rewarding program. We will end the program with small table discussions about what we learned and what actions, individually and collectively, we must take to reduce/eliminate poverty.

Dr. King devoted his life to fighting what he deemed ‘the triple evils’ of American society: racism, war, and poverty. Join us on May 2 as we lend our voices and talents to eliminating these evils from our society.
