We are a quiet group here. The Pagan Temple is mostly centered in
the foot hills of Appalachia in the US. We have a very small physical
temple body, and a larger online presence. We practice Pagan
Naturalism, which falls under Wicca, if just. I am surprised it is
taboo in France, when France has so many more freedoms than America.
I was under the impression French citizens had rights over their
entire lives and the government even helped it's citizens. Then
again, I have never been to France.
In America we "technically" have the right to practice our faith,
but local judges have been taking children from their mothers for
practicing the Wiccan faith. It is a shame. I have dealt with the
officials in the past, and unless a mother is very aware of the
situation, they may trick her into making a mistake on purpose. The
reason for this is that social workers make money by adopting out
small babies. The more small babies they can kidnap legally and adopt
out the more money they can take. Local judges do not recognize Wicca
as a religion even though our Supreme Court in Washington DC does.
Many legal battles are being fought by mothers to keep their
children. My temple has been blessed in that no one in our temple has
had this problem.
