DCFS is changing its Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) benefits schedule to distribute benefits more evenly throughout each month. The transition began in December 2020, and the new regular schedule goes into effect in February 2021.

This module implements scheduled snapshots for CephFS.It provides a user interface to add, query and remove snapshots schedules andretention policies, as well as a scheduler that takes the snapshots and prunesexisting snapshots accordingly.
Snapshot schedules are identified by path, their repeat interval and their starttime. Therepeat interval defines the time between two subsequent snapshots. It isspecified by a number and a period multiplier, one of h(our), d(ay),w(eek), M(onth) and y(ear). E.g. a repeat interval of 12h specifies onesnapshot every 12 hours.The start time is specified as a time string (more details about passing timesbelow). By defaultthe start time is last midnight. So when a snapshot schedule with repeatinterval 1h is added at 13:50with the default start time, the first snapshot will be taken at 14:00.The time zone is assumed to be UTC if none is explicitly included in the string.An explicit time zone will be mapped to UTC at execution.The start time must be in ISO8601 format. Retention specifications are identified by path and the retention spec itself. Aretention spec consists of either a number and a time period separated by aspace or concatenated pairs of .The semantics are that a spec will ensure snapshots are kept that areat least apart. For Example 7d means the user wants to keep 7snapshots that are at least one day (but potentially longer) apart from each other.The following time periods are recognized: h(our), d(ay), w(eek), M(onth),y(ear) and n. Snapshots are scheduled using python Timers. Under normal circumstancesspecifying 1h as the schedule will result in snapshots 1 hour apart fairlyprecisely. If the mgr daemon is under heavy load however, the Timer threadsmight not get scheduled right away, resulting in a slightly delayed snapshot. Ifthis happens, the next snapshot will be schedule as if the previous one was notdelayed, i.e. one or more delayed snapshots will not cause drift in the overallschedule.
In order to somewhat limit the overall number of snapshots in a file system, themodule will only keep a maximum of 50 snapshots per directory. If the retentionpolicy results in more then 50 retained snapshots, the retention list will beshortened to the newest 50 snapshots.

Note: SNAP benefits cannot be issued more than 40 days after the previous issuance. Households with applications certified more than 40 days before their scheduled monthly benefit issuance date have an initial issuance adjustment period until their benefits align with their scheduled monthly benefit issuance date.
SNAP households certified before May 1, 2023, keep their existing issuance schedule based on the date benefits were initially certified, unless there is a break in benefits of at least six months and the household reapplies after May 1, 2023.
Staff provide benefits according to timeliness standards. Benefit issuances for certified applications are available immediately upon being credited to the account. Benefits requested after cutoff for the next month are available on the first day of the next month, except for SNAP-combined allotments.
A benefit record may be sent two ways to the EBT system. TANF benefit records are sent only from TIERS. SNAP benefit records are normally sent only from TIERS, but priority issuances may also be sent by manual EBT system entry.
For a nominated volume (or even wildcard) check that netapp snapshots exist and exist based on a particular nominated schedule i.e. every hour or every 4 hours and if it doesnt see a snapshot inbetween those periods i.e. within 1 or 4 hours then to highllght this or sumarise at the bottom of report in csv format.
I can produce a list of snapshots but I guess I need a little intelligience behind a filter to locate snapshots which are more than a defined number of hours apart i.e. more than 2 hours and presenting it in a sensible format. I guess I'd need to use access or creation time on the snapshots to be able to filter out such things.
The new regular schedule, which will go into effect in February 2021, will allow for more even stocking and staffing at grocery stores and more consistent access to a variety of foods for shoppers, as households typically do their shopping on or shortly after the day their benefits are issued.
For example, recipients whose Social Security Number ends in 9, and who are not classified as elderly or disabled, will receive their December benefits on Dec. 10, their January benefits on Jan. 18, and their February benefits on Feb. 23.
