I was trying to watch an episode of Wednesday and was unable to watch due to an error that stated that "Your Netflix account is in use on too many devices." I watched half of an episode on an upstairs TV earlier today and just finished that episode on a TV downstairs.

So some unwanted people have been using my Netflix and I would like for them to get logged out after changing my password. I've tried the Sign out Of All devices again and again from different devices and at different times. I've done it repeatedly for a week and it doesn't seem to have any effect. Any ideas?

Through Netflix's streaming option, you can have up to four different devices registered to your account to watch your favorite movies and television shows on. However, Netfliz is cracking down on password sharing and the amount of devices you can have on one account at a time. Netflix keeps tabs on all your registered devices under your account, and you can check the list whenever you sign in on a recent device.

Verify which devices are connected, or remove and replace them with a newer device through the Membership Plan section of your account page. If you are having issues using Netflix on a new device, you may need to sign out of Netflix from one of your other devices first before access. Netflix uses IP address checking to see what devices you have in use on your account, for both Apple iPhone, Android and other device options.

Your device streaming activity is monitored by the platform so they can limit how many users and devices can utilize one account at a time. Netflix is only one option of the streaming services to allow for streaming of tv shows and movies to be streamed on multiple devices and accounts at once. For those that watch Netflix often with shared family accounts, you may need to change passwords if there are too many connected devices to help narrow down which can be connected at a time.

The settings section in your accounts, normally in the top-right corner, shows your profile icon, notifications and settings, as well as options for new password creation. These settings can be found on both the Netflix website as well as in the Netflix app on your devices. Your Netflix profile and Netflix password can only be shared with so many people at a time, so make sure you manage a list of devices as well as manage download devices for downloading and streaming offline purposes (as the mobile app allows for downloads and watching in offline settings). The profile section normally has a dropdown menu of choices for settings and categories needed for each account.

I'm running PiHole on a QNAP server that is running Ubuntu 20.04.1 in an LXC. The PiHole is running as expected (as far as I can tell). My network consists of Ubiquity's UDM as my router and have the network setup with multiple VLANs (personal devices, generic IoT, and streaming IoT). I have my TCL Roku TV and Roku Premiere device on the streaming and generic IoT respectively with IP's of x.x.20.5 and x.x.21.22 respectively.

For some reason netflix.com was blacklisted initially (I'm using the pihole-updatelists gibhub repository for my adlists), and I noticed that there were hundreds of calls for netflix.com. It didn't appear to prevent me from accessing the service, but I found it strange that it was happening so frequently (like every 5 mins). Any idea why this is happening and if this is something I should be concerned about?

I changed this, and yes, I wasn't planning on using the DHCP server on the PiHole. Sorry, I'm still learning about all of this. So I apologize if this was a stupid comment, but I was just looking to see if there was anything in the log that I sent you that would specify such a short lease time because everything on my Unifi network is set to 86400 seconds for the DHCP lease time, and most of my devices are using static ip's anyway.

Hey all, is anyone experiencing the same problem? When I'm logging in to my netflix ( ) and click on "Manage access and devices" with the fancy blue "NEW" icon infront ( ) .. the list is empty. No devices are listed.. even tho there should be at least 8 devices listed. it takes a bit to load so i'm thinking it's timing out and fails to fetch the data and thus i'm seeing an empty list.

is anyone else experiencing this? I tried contacting netflix support and after about and hour of back and forth they said they'd forward it to their tech department but i'm not getting any ticket# or anything to checkup on the status. So I'm asking reddit if i'm the only on experciencing this? thanks!

Having recently upgraded to Premium for Family, i was hoping that the subscription would allow up to 6 devices connected at the same time - irrespective of the account that is logged in - as long as the account is linked to the family.

My fiance and I both had premium accounts but we ran into the issue of the sonos playing music and cutting off the music on my phone as they are both signed in on my account. Rather than having to log out of the Sonos and for her to log in to avoid cutting me off, why does Spotify not pool the accounts (like netflix does) so that you can have up to the 6 devices streaming music at any one time.

From birth-control devices to hip implants, the majority of medical devices hit the market without proper testing. Sometimes these untested devices, meant to improve lives, ruin them instead. Pharmaceutical and medical device companies make billions. Patients often pay with their health.

The documentary specifically highlights issues associated with five defective medical device products that caused damage to the public, such as hip implants and vaginal mesh. One of these devices, the controversial Essure birth control, was recently discontinued by pharmaceutical giant Bayer.

Our experienced team of professionals at Cory Watson Attorneys has been accepting Essure cases for more than three years. We have seen first-hand the damage caused by dangerous medical devices such as Essure birth control and other dangerous drugs.

Essure is a surgical implant device used as a permanent form of birth control. The device consists of two metal coils inserted into the fallopian tubes. Essure prevents pregnancy as the coils provoke an inflammatory response and scar tissue grows around the devices. It is meant as a form of permanent birth control for women and takes several months to become effective.

The main hurdle that Netflix will place in front of password sharers is device verification when phones, computers and streaming devices are logged into an account that isn't the primary user's home network.

It will see it through the chromecast app, I can stream to it through youtube. BUt once I enter the netflix application and hit the chromecast button it does not see any chromecasts. Wierdly it does see a couple roku's and an xbox.

I've run into this exact weirdness on campus. Each of the past 5 chromecast setups were for someone using an iPhone and all 5 of them wouldn't work with Netflix, but Hulu, youtube, etc... everything else works. That and the Andriod Netflix for the same Chromecast works fine. Any chrome browser as well running netflix.

I spent time searching through every blocked airgroup service I could and still not sure. I'm surprised there doesn't seem to be more people with this issue. It works perfectly on an Andriod - and just fine for the students at home on the same two devices.

The changes come as Netflix, the world's biggest subscription streaming video service of its kind, is poised to start a password-sharing crackdown. The company plans to start introducing fees in the next two months that will charge to share a membership between people who don't live together. And when you're paying extra to share a membership with more people, a lower limit on the number of devices allowed to download could crimp your usage.

The film captures real human stories of complications with Essure birth control, vaginal mesh, metal hip implants and other commonly used devices. Thanks to the film, the public finally has an authentic picture of just how dangerous a failed medical device can be.

Though the Essure birth control device was only studied for a one and a half years before entering the market, the device is intended to be permanent. The lack of extensive clinical trials sets the stage for a much larger conversation on testing medical devices.

Though The Bleeding Edge focuses primarily on a few dangerous medical devices, it also briefly mentions other devices. The film introduces IVC filters, which can cause various complications, including floating to the heart. It also discusses the da Vinci robotic surgery device, power morcellation procedures and mold found in breast implants.

Many of these devices are part of a slick machine of promotion, and patients aren't getting the information they need. "The Bleeding Edge" brings these issues to the forefront, calling on the industry to make changes and empowering patients to ask better questions.

While you can share your account with as many people as you like, only a certain number of users can stream content from Netflix simultaneously. In addition, further limits are placed on the number of devices that can be downloaded from Netflix for offline access.

In your Netflix account settings, scroll to the Settings section. Press Manage Download Devices to view the list of enabled devices on your account with offline viewing enabled.

"I got a message last night from my mother that when she went to play Netflix, which she watches through an app on the Bluray player, she got the following message: Netflix will no longer be available on this device after October 16. Visit Netflix.com/compatibledevices for a list of compatible devices," wrote one user.

Thanks guys for all your input. So this is how I solved the issue. As I stated in the first post, I have Time Warner Cable internet service, the modem provided is a Motorola Surfboard Cable modem SB5101. To get an activation code from the device, I hooked the Live plus directly to the cable modem. I then reset the modem. I also reset the Live plus unit. After both devices were up and running, I went to the Netflix service and clicked yes and ta da!!! an activation code.
