Something along the lines of: * siteX.tld 3p block (excuse syntax, just for sake of demo) sort of an inverse concept on say siteY.tld * 3p block where we are blocking 3p originating from to flipping it to blocking 3p destination to. Thoughts?
this addon was my lover addon , but after firefox create the new browser it become an old addon and cant run on new browser .
then i searched a new one until i found your and i like it very much but it dont give me what i was realy enjoy with .
I just turned off AdBlock Plus in the Add-Ons screen and downloaded ublock origin to try it out. There is no icon for this new plug in to be found anywhere.I can manually go in and change the settings on this plugin in the add-ons screen but there is no icon anywhere to go in quicker or to show a report of how many items were blocked. When I try to Customize my toolbars, the icon is not available there either. The nearest threads I can find on this topic are from 2018 and their solutions are very basic use.Yes, of course I restarted the browser.TIA.
How would you go about installing something like a browser extension like uBlock
Origin for firefox so it is available in all appqubes based on a specific
template but installing it requires internet access?
Alternatively you could download via a proxy, in the template, the .xpi
files of your firefox addons and try to install them system-wide (maybe
in /usr/lib/firefox-esr/browser/features/ on debian ?idk)
Oh I realize that we have patched firefox to use the MOZ_SYSTEM_DIR env var, which should point to a directory that contains plugins and extensions. Maybe we can make its value configurable in the firefox wrapper?
I think what is happening is ublock is blocking the html window that the 1p extension makes on the website. Or what might be happening is since your using the same website to draw your password saving thing, the website's own javascript might conflict and cause it not to draw properly, or some combo of the above. When I tried making a new account on 1password.community for example, the 1p window did properly pop up.
Hey @mac232! 1Password can indeed run into issues with adblockers and anti-virus software. However, it depends on your set up. I myself have never had any issues with using uBlock origin and the 1Password extension in the same browser.
