Okay, I've just blundered my way to this site... which seems utterly
appropriate in one sense: my long-time awareness that the only
adequate way to do 'theology' is in Rants, keeping in mind that
mistaking a system of theology for anything but a big metaphor is to
set up a dangerous idol.

Some of what you'd find at sneezingflower.blogspot.com would seem to
fit, particularly
http://sneezingflower.blogspot.com/2006/09/open-letter-to-god.html

But rather than collect academic talk about literary theory, shouldn't
y'all be babbling out freeform liturgy?

'It's time for you to leave the fires of hell;
you have done well
and been well-done.
Why have you put yourself here!
...

Your Daddy's calling!
Time to come home
and play!"

forrestc,

Thanks for dropping by and for pointing folks towards your poems. I
would agree: that type of work is very much in line with my sense of
some of what theopoetics can be.

In terms of the academic talk, currently, the website mostly serves as
a collection of information regarding the theory and practice of
theopoetics, not so much as a site of theopoetic action. That being
said, I think that all the folks that that make use of the page would
probably also be in accord with the presence of more poetry directly,
so feel free to continue to point folks to freeform liturgy where you
find/make it.

Thanks for popping in,

Callid

PS At the very same time that you were making this posting, I was
recording a set of poetry-based videos for sharing. Keep your eyes
peeled and hopefully I'll have them up today or tomorrow.
