Hi Friends,
There’s a group of us going to cut down a Christmas Tree at Marmion Abbey Farms out in Aurora Sunday November 27th after church. It will be the first Sunday of Advent!

The plan:
after church grab lunch somewhere on the way, carpool or caravan out to the farm
enjoy the farm, cut down the tree, get hot cocoa, check out the Christmas stuff
drive back to Bethany’s place for a hot dinner (crock pot soup) and drinks, put the tree up, share an Advent prayer, and hang out
If you’d like to get a tree yourself, that is great too- just bring a tree saw and rope for fastening on your car- or ask one of the guys to help you (like I did!)
Email me back if you want to join in and if you need help cutting a tree down yourself. (They do sell pre-cut trees as well.)
RSVP by Friday after Thanksgiving, so I know how much soup to prepare! (If you can bring something to contribute to the meal that would be great, or you can toss a few bucks in and I can figure out the sides and beverages.)
