Hi Friends,

Is there anyway we could move our Friday time to Saturday evening next week?  The Rez Healing Conference is next weekend- which I think some of you are attending (4 people I know of) and I would love to attend the Friday and Saturday sessions (I have class on Thursday night.)

What do you all think?

Christ’s Peace and Love,
Bethany

Saturday evening is fine for me. I'll be at the healing conference,
too....and helping with the meals.

Peace,
Brian

Hello TOLers (& a few other folks that I thought might be interested!),

Okay, so we are bumping our regularly scheduled Friday night programming to Saturday evening 7pm!  Wow, has the anticipation grown enough yet, for us to dive in to Abolition of Man?  :)

I am so sorry for all the scheduling changes of late, but honestly I haven’t been keeping up with all the church events (Men’s Retreat and Healing Conference).  I feel like these are good reasons though, to shuffle things around. :)  I will be at the Healing Conference on Friday and would love to sit with any of you that are also going.

In addition, let’s keep the following dates:
Nov. 18th (The Abolition of Man)
Dec 2, 9, 16 (TBA)

Looking forward to this weekend!

All Saints Joy,
Bethany

P.S.  Sarah, would you be the food organizer for this Saturday?  And if you like to read along, bring a copy of the book- otherwise, I will have one for us to read aloud from.

Hi all,

I am so happy to hear that we are reading Abolition of Man. I just wanted to send a note regarding what appears to be the abolition of my attendance as of late :(

I have not given up on coming!  I have been really busy lately (was at the retreat this weekend, last weekend I was at another retreat unrelated to Rez, etc.).

I have had dinner plans with friends planning for this Saturday for some time now, and it might be that I cannot make it yet again :(

So, needless to say, I hope to be back Theologizing out loud with you all soon.

Notificationally,
Matthew

I'm down with reading it - that's fine with me!

Hi, all.

A question has come up about the possibility of listening to the audio
book version of "Abolition of Man" versus reading it aloud. What would
your preference be?

Peace,
Brian

I agree:  we should read.  We could always employ a British accent.
