The Orthodox Faith found in the pages of the Bible

St. Paul said there is only "one God, one body, one faith, and one baptism":   Ephesians 4:4-6.
Christ said He would build His Church: Matthew 16:18.

Christ teaches baptism "in the name of the Father and of the son and of the Holy Spirit" (Matthew 28:19), upon his behalf (Acts 2:30 & 2 Corinthians 5:20); and it is necessary as a Christian to be baptized: John 3:5; Acts 2:38, 22:16; Romans 6:4; Colossians 2:12; Gal. 3:27.
The Epistle to the Hebrews speaks of an Altar from which Christians eat: Hebrews 13:10.
Jesus said we must eat of His Body and drink of His Blood, or we have no life in us: John 6:53-58.  [The people in Jesus' days understood this to be in reference to Leviticus 6:25-26,7:9.15].
St. Paul told us how to "eat of His body": I Corinthians 10:16-21.
There are bishops, priests and deacons in Christ's Church:  I Timothy 3:1 & 2; Titus 1:7 (bishops). I Timothy 4:14; 5:17; Titus 1:5 (presbyters). I Timothy 3:10; Philippians 1:1; Titus 3:8 (deacons).
The Apostolic tradition and succession is kept in Christ's Church: II Thessalonians 2:15.
The Church's practice always conforms to the Holy Scriptures (Bible), with an offering or sacrifice and incense:   Malachi 1:11; I Corinthians 9:13.
Christ is the same, yesterday, today and in times to come. So is his Church:    Hebrews 13:8; John 15:18-19, 17:16.
There is no other name under the heaven  whereby we must be saved, than Jesus Christ:   Acts 4:12. The Holy Spirit and the Bride say, "Come, let each hearer reply" (Rev. 22:17).  Anyone who hears the call on the Bride of Christ (i.e., the Church) may come and freely receive the Gift of the Holy Spirit, the Water of Life: John 4:7; 7:38.
What does "salvation" mean? - Matthew 28:18-20
To "work out our salvation in fear and trembling"  - (Philippians 2:12)
The Mother of God: Luke 1:43 (note that the Greek word 'kyrios' is a term used for 'God" in the New Testament) Holy Tradition: II Thessalonians 2:15
The Veneration of the Virgin Theotokos: Luke 1:48
Immaculate Conception (at Annunciation): Luke 1:28
The Veneration of Saints: Acts 5:12-16
Infallibility of Church Councils: Acts 15
Infallibility of the Church: Matthew 16:19 and 18:15-18
Personal Confession & Absolution of Sins: John 20:22-23
Divine Priesthood, dispensed through the Church: Hebrew 5:10, I Timothy 5:21
Praying for the departed souls: II Maccabees 12:44-45
Veneration of and miracles through holy relics: From Sacred Scripture, it is known that from the touch of the bones of the Prophet Eliseus a dead man resurrected (IV Kings 13:21); a woman with an issue of blood received healing from touching the hem of the Savior's garment (Matthew 9:20-22); the sick and the possessed were healed by laying on them the apostle Paul's handkerchiefs and aprons (Acts 19:12). The same divine power that was inherent in the bones of the prophet Eliseus, the garment of the Savior and the handkerchiefs of the apostle Paul also grants incorruption and miracle-working power to the bodies of the saints to strengthen the faith of Christians.
No prophecy of scripture is of any private interpretation:   2 Peter 1:20
