I have the Komplete Now subscription, which includes Battery 4. (4.3) .. It also includes the Battery Now Library. When running Battery 4 stand alone or plugin in Ableton, I can only see the Battery Now Library, not the factory library. Tried the list of suggestions in another post, all the way to reinstalling Battery 4, to no avail.. in Native Access I don't see Battery 4 Factory library either, only Battery 4 and Battery Now Library. Not sure the Factory library was ever installed, only the Battery Now Library from what I can see in the file system.

I have the Battery 4 Factory library on an external drive, I had to reinstall Battery 4 and have run into the same problem from years ago of being unable to help Battery 4 see where the library is. Native Access only gives me an option to reinstall the library, there's no option to 'Locate' within Native Access to rectify the issue.

How do I get Battery 4 to see the Factory Content on the external drive which lives with all the Kontakt Libraries that Native Access is able to see? I've tried creating an alias to where the library is and Battery 4 promptly freaked out with a warning message that had a 'locate' button which helpfully did nothing when pressed. Thanks in advance ?️

Is there reason why even the latest version of Battery 4 doesn't allow the ability to locate libraries like you can with Kontakt? If I remove the B4 database files, that still won't allow me to relocate the library even if I change the content location in Native Access from Shared to the external drive?

I have deleted every trace of Battery 4 and the library in an attempt to reinstall it fresh, but the Native Instruments app still says the library is installed, and Battery 4 won't let me try and select a new folder and insists that the Factory Library Folder is still there.

I recently bought the full version from NI, but during installation, I don't get the option to download and install the factory sound bank that is suppose to come with it. I've been searching all over for a legit source to get the sound bank, but I can't find one.

Now, I think I may have found the bank. On the NI site, I went to the downloads>updates page, and searched for Battery 4. I see the factory library ver 1.0.1 there, so I think that's what i need. I'm going through the installation process now.

Have you uninstalled the Battery 4 demo before trying to install the full version? There's a remote chance that the full installer isn't prompting for a library location because it sees and decides to use the demo's library. You should be able to check whether this is the case from within Battery by going to Edit > Preferences and checking the library filepath in the Library tab.

According to the account of a Ukrainian prisoner, whose brother was shot for being a member of a Communist resistance group that blew up railroad-bridge, there were Ukrainians, French, Russians, homosexuals and Jews in the camps. When the ally planes began attacking Germany, the SS lined the prisoners on the road military style so that the allied planes would mistake them for German soldiers and strafe them. Hundreds of prisoners were killed this way. When the allies tried to bomb the Varta battery plant with phosphorus bombs, the SS commanded the prisoners to pick up the numerous unexploded bombs, resulting in the deaths of many more. When a bomb landed on the part of the factory where the Ukrainian prisoner was working, he managed to escape and was hidden by a doctor in Hagen until the British liberated the camps and the factories.

In context of getting the MCU on Pro Mini and ATMega2560 (chip is ATmega328 and ATMega 2560) to sleep and power down modes, so as to run on one set of battery for months, appreciate idea and comment.

Is sleep mode done via ATMel factory library, Arduino-level user contributed library, or the Arduino IDE? Many web posting are along the line of getting it partially working but only at half expected current reduction, etc. That is, current do reduced, but, not enough.

The Fritchle was designed with Rocky Mountain socialites in mind. The wide seats and high ceilings gave wealthy women - with their large dresses, wide-brimmed hats, and many accessories - freedom to move without feeling constricted. The immense power of Fritchle's battery propelled the cars quickly up steep mountainsides, making them ideal for those who wished to go joyriding in their leisure time. Molly Brown was often seen driving around Denver in her beloved Fritchle.

Rechargeable batteries play a pivotal role in securing energy continuity as we move away from fossil fuels. With batteries empowering the transformation of many industries, battery manufacturers face growing pressure to increase battery production capacity and deliver high-performance batteries to market quicker.

In a dynamic, complex and fast-growing marketplace, the race is on to scale up and develop next generation battery materials and technology. How can virtual twins help you discover what is the next battery technology?

Battery materials design, battery cell engineering, battery manufacturing and other disciplines involve a highly complex ecosystem, spanning a wide scope of interconnected operations and processes. Poor visibility and inefficiencies caused by the lack of cross-functional collaboration can significantly impact your time to market.

Verkor is leveraging virtual twin technology on the 3DEXPERIENCE platform to speed up the development of next-generation lithium-ion batteries and the first giga factory that will produce them.

Battery manufacturer Samsung SDI is making a significant foray into the U.S. electric vehicle (EV) battery market, announcing plans to invest $1.98 billion in its second battery factory in collaboration with Stellantis, a leading global automaker. This strategic move was unveiled in a regulatory filing by the South Korea-based company on September 27.

The investment is slated to span from April to November 2027, marking a substantial commitment to the rapidly growing EV sector. It will also grant Samsung SDI a commanding 51% ownership stake in Starplus Energy, a joint venture with Stellantis dedicated to producing batteries for electric vehicles. This increased ownership share reflects Samsung SDI's drive to strengthen its presence in the EV battery market.

This news comes on the heels of the joint endeavor between Samsung SDI and Stellantis to construct a massive $2.5 billion EV battery production plant in Kokomo, Indiana. This ambitious facility is anticipated to commence production in 2025, with a projected annual capacity of 23 gigawatt hours. The plant's design also incorporates the flexibility to ramp up production to 33 GWh annually, showcasing the partners' commitment to meeting the growing demand for EV batteries in the US market.

Films & foils used in the creation of high performing lithium ion batteries require surface treating to enable successful bonding. Enercon corona, plasma & flame treatment technologies are highly effective at cleaning organics and activating surfaces of engineered polymer battery separator films, along with aluminum and copper foils used for anode and cathode construction.

Did you know that hundreds of lithium coin batteries are accidentally ingested every year? To help keep children safe, Duracell continues to innovate new battery safety features. Our latest is a non-toxic bitter coating designed to help discourage swallowing.

Last year, Toyota Motor Corporation announced a global investment of approximately $70 billion (8 trillion JPY*) for electrification efforts. Today, as part of this aspirational goal, TMC announced a future battery production commitment of up to $5.6 billion (730 billion JPY), which includes the new North Carolina investment.

It is for these reasons that constructors and regulators are increasing pressure on battery manufacturers to authenticate the provenance of their raw materials and provide assurance that the extraction of these materials neither pollutes the local environment, nor involves unethical labor practices.

A manufacturer who wants to guarantee traceability and high ethical standards can either procure its raw materials directly, or work with an active-materials supplier who can guarantee the origin of the material. This is where partnerships within the value chain play such a vital role. Technologies such as blockchain can help to address traceability challenges. Track-and-trace functionality solutions implemented with blockchain enable entire supply-chain networks to document updates to a single shared ledger, which provides total data visibility and a single source of truth. Volvo is a case in point. The Swedish automotive manufacturer works with its EV-battery suppliers to create a digital ledger that tracks the source of critical materials, such as cobalt.[1]
