Eight killed in Bajaur Agency blast


Peshawar: At least Eight people were killed and several others injured in a blast in Bajaur Agency area of Pakistan’s northwest tribal region.

Sources said that the blast took place in Tehseel Salarzai’ headquarter s , killing two tribal elders and injuring several others.

The sources said that Security forces rushed to the spot and cordoned off the area.The dead and injured were shifted to district headquarters hospital while a medical emergency was announced in the nearby hospitals.

The sources said that members of an Aman Committee, a pro-government militia’,were targeted in the blast and two senior members Malik Mian Jaan and Malik Tehseel Khan was also killed.
