
Islamabad:
US has embroiled on a plan to repair strained ties with Pakistan that
have been on the lowest level since the United States launched a
unilateral operation in Abbottabad that led to killing of al-Qaeda chief
Osama bin Laden on May 2.
Political observers are of the views
that the visit of US special envoy to Pakistan and Afghanistan Marc
Grossman and CIA deputy director Michael Morell is the part of efforts
to normalise the ties with its South Asian ally where anti US sentiment
run high and majority of Pakistani people view it unfavourably.
