Lost font for fractions on Microsoft Works

Given my limited computer skills, I am not sure I am addressing this question
to the correct newsgroup or if I can adequately explain the problem I have.
Here goes:
I was forced to reload Windows 95 a few weeks ago, along with a few other
programs including Microsoft Works. In the past I used to change the font to
some type (?) that would allow me to write numerical fractions. When I reloaded
Microsoft Works, I lost that special font and have not been able to write
fractions. Unfortunately, I have also forgotton the name of that special font.
Any help someone could give me on this problem would be greatly
appreciated.
