Hi all,

Is there any reason why a cd-r & r/w rated for use with 2000 or XP should
not plug and play in 95? If so, are there generic drivers available
anywhere?

No reason why not. It should use the CD-ROM drivers with Windows 95,
although if you need real mode drivers they will need to be set up in the
same way (in config.sys and autoexec.bat) as you did in Windows 98/XP.

The other limitation will be whether your CD burning software/drivers will
work with Windows 95.
