I have an old Compaq without CD Rom and DOS installed. I would like to
install W95, but all I have is a CD. Is there a way to copy the installation
files to floppies so I can install the OS on the old Compaq? Any help would
be appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

Windows 95 did come out on floppies once. But I don't know how you would
transfer the cd to floppies. will a CD-Rom fit in your computer? They are
really cheap.

I recently got an old Compaq in the same condition. I bought a used CDrom on
eBay for $2.00 plus shipping and installed win95 from the CD and Start Up
disc which had CDrom drivers on it. One mistake I made was formatting the HD
first since I didn't know that the BIOS settings are on a separate partition
on the HD. Luckily I didn'r have to make any changes to the BIOS.
