Those who walk in the Spirit and keep the laws of God are no longer under its penalty (second death). Of course we have to repent when we see we have sinned.

1 Jn 5:17 All unrighteousness is sin (not just the ten commandments)

2Tim 2:19 Let everyone who calls upon the name of Christ depart from unrighteousness.

Besides the ten commandments, sin includes witchcraft, hatred, strifes, envyings, drunkenness and the other things listed in Galations 5. Gal 5:19-21 says those who do such things shall <not> inherit the kingdom of God.

Unrighteous acts are also listed in Rom 1:29-32 and include malice, envy, guile, slanderers, those without natural affection (homosexuals), etc., and it says that those who commit such things are worthy of death (second death) including those who approve of those who commit such things.

Dear Miss Margorie,

Did you know that at the last supper Jesus/Yeshua was telling the Apostles that his life would soon be over and that his death would bring in a "New Last will and testament". The last supper would remind every one that the bread and wine would represent his body and blood that was shed for them. And not only that but that his death would bring a "New Commandment".

26. "And as the were eating , Jesus took bread and blessed it, and brake it, and gave it to the disciples, and said, Take, eat; this is my body.

27. And he took the cup, and gave thanks and gave it to them, saying, Drink ye all of it;

28. For this is my blood of the New TESTAMENT, which is shed for many for the remission of sins". (Matthew/Mattithyahu 26;26-28)

And also it was written....

23. "And he took the cup, and when he had given thanks, he gave it it to them: and they all drank of it.

24. And he said unto them, This is my blood of the NEW TESTAMENT, which is shed for many". (Mark 14:23.24)

This is a wonderful thing that he did for us. This new Last will and Testament would replace the old one and no longer be needed. If we do not accept this then it appears that he died for nothing?
