Hi all,
What a wonderful and powerful weekend. We showed the movie 4 times
on Saturday. We had 80 people attend between the 4 showings. There was a
discussion to follow. It was wonderful to be a part of the different groups
and to hear how each group responded to the showings differently. We also
did a pratice meditation after each discussion. It was a wonderful
experience and the people are amazing. In the last group we had an
opportunity to practice the teachings on oneness when someone decided to
bring his bible, join us, take notes on the movie and explain to us why
accourding to the bible we are not all one and the world will never be at
peace. It was interesting to watch it play out and still be able to keep
the energy and the focus on a positive discussion. It became even more clear
as to why it is so important for us to focus our energy on a world of peace.
Being in a situation where the energy could have so easily slipped into an
argument and seeing it play out in a peaceful way was very powerful.
Interestingly, every time I left my room at the hotel the same man was in
the lobby. It felt like God telling me to realize the gift of a deeper
understanding of peace this man has to offer to me.
This morning I spoke at the Unity service on Giving, Oneness and
Destiny. We then had a discussion and joined in with all of you and the
rest of those around the world. The flow of energy and the power of the
Universal oneness was something words can not describe. James Twyman's
meditation was perfect. People cried tears of joy and release. They
laughed, smiled, and really relaxed into the wonder of it all. We then had
a covered dish meal and spent time connecting and enjoying being together.
It was truly perfect.
Some of the things which came up in our discussions where Tithing,
where our "heart" is at when we are giving. Wonderful stories of times
people like beyond long held thoughts of one another to the soul of another,
different ways of meditating and connecting with God, joy, and discussions
on destiny. I loved it.
