Hey Everybody,
That was a kickin' weekend! We're all a little sunburnt, sick, sweaty & spinnin' but this weekend's juice was worth the squeeze. We got tipped a hundred bucks in Hoboken, got interviewed by Corey Goldberg on WRSU Rutgers Radio, and played outside on the Rutgers' campus, under a 50' cement canopy (that means stadium verb and bass balls terrifying) in front of flowy spring dresses and free pizza. We jammed on songs by The Band in loving memory of Levon (he will be missed and I never made a ramble). We celebrated our mothers' birthdays @ Tierney's in Montclair. Hank's mother, Maureen was born the day after the brothers' mother, Miriam. "Mo P. & Mimi D." We passed out 75 free samplers from our upcoming EP. We also got to hang out and hear several of our favorite local Jersey bands including Black Water, Adam Striecher of Adam Striecher & The Amphetamines, The Porchistas, Fairmont and the Accidental Seabirds. Thank you to everyone who came out and banged their heads high :)
Tonight we're back in Downtown Jersey City @ Lucky 7's Tavern! Show starts at 8 PM.
