Thanks so much to everybody who lent an ear this weekend. From Northern Soul in Hoboken, down to EJ's in Seaside Heights and back up to Tierney's Tavern in Montclair, bein' a MiCK just keeps gettin' better. EJ's was pure David Lynch. Tom's River's Mel Gibson was there. Homeless Carlos Santana bought us a round of "liquid marijuanas" and our hosts, THC made us feel very much at home in 1979 (that's a compliment). We shared stages with Homebody from North Hampton, MA and Plastiq Passion of Newark, who delivered lovely and inspiring performances -as did, as always, Bern & the Brights. We love you and congratulations to the Brights on releasing their new EP: WORK. It sounds excellent and if you haven't heard it yet, you should order a copy on their website.
And we're coming back to EJ's, and we're bringing the entourage. You know who you are. 8 pool tables, cement floors, a closed in porch for the smokers, wooden monitors, a 7-11, on the ocean with the cast of Wild At Heart...
