No its not a horror movie prompt... Is anyone experiencing Gnats
coming out of the conduits (holes where the light fixtures are
attached)?! The light fixture is becoming a gathering place for gnats,
and the only place they can possibly be coming from is the ceiling!!
Thank god the light fixture is closed up against the ceiling,
otherwise there would be a thousand gnats flying around my condo!

I've cleaned it out twice, and they just... keep collecting...

Thanks

That's funny that you posted this because my mom told me yesterday that they had an infestation of gnats in their house all gathered around the window sill.  They didn't have any food, over watered plants, or rotten fruit so they don't know why this happened to them either. They are attracted to light and moisture so that is probably why yours is around the light fixture area.  Apparently 1 female lays 300 eggs so it might take a couple of days to kill them all.  She has a bowl of rotten banana soaked in water with 5 tbsp dish soap.  Put saran wrap around it and punch some holes.  The gnats all seem to be getting trapped and dyeing inside the water.  good luck.

Thanks Yuka.

I will give it shot. Thankfully they cant escape the light fixture in
my kitchen. This actually happened in 2008 when I bought the place as
well.

Thank you!
