PRCI Excellence Awards to cover Agriculture Communication

BENGALURU: Perhaps in a first, communication professionals’ premier body Public Relations Council of India (PRCI) has instituted awards for effective agriculture communication as part of its Excellence Awards.

PRCI Excellence Awards cover a host of categories from crisis to corporate campaigns, government communication, health, financial, CSR, HR, real estate, BFSI, film, lifestyle, social media and so on. “Based on feedback from professionals, we decided to include agriculture sector”, said M B Jayaram, Chief Mentor and Chairman Emeritus, PRCI.

“Agriculture is India’s largest sector and we realize the importance of communication for betterment of the farmers,” said B N Kumar, Governing Council Chairman of PRCI.

The entries should focus on the campaigns by corporate or agency communication professionals that led to a significance contribution to the farm sector. There are Gold, silver and bronze categories under this.

The last date for submission of entries is January 15, 2019.
