Data inline instead of Google Docs

Greetings!

I'm trying to implement the Prism overlay, however I do not want to
use Google Docs, but rather use a scripting language like PHP, Java or
ColdFusion to execute a query against a DB and then present the data
in the HTML in the inline JS section.

The problem is I'm still trying to de-engineer how you load the "data"
element without doing the Google Docs method. I'm still checking
through the Google Code Docs, but if anyone can point me to an
example, once I get mine working I'm happy to post a full example!

I am also looking for the same. I want feed-in live data but can't get
through this problem hitherto.
