As promised, the blunderbus made the local newspaper. Ok, it didnt
really make the newspaper, but it did make the "syracuse new times".
For those of you not from fabulous central new york, the new times is
a free paper that circulates around here. God knows why or how they
pay for it. Anyway, they wrote a story about the madcap blunderbus
and include quotes from Mr. and Mrs. Ulen. In my opinion, those were
the highlights of the article.

Although I may be marking myself as an old fart and a parent, it was
good to see that everyone in the Ulen clan isnt as insane as Brendon!
(I'm sure I am going to hear more about that line in the next few
posts).

Despite the insanity, I have to admit that following this adventure
has been a ton of fun. I cant wait until you guys make it back to the
states, get de-loused from the worms, bugs, and viruses that you have
picked up along the way, and finally have your heads examined. After
that, I want to hear the stories that you couldnt post. If you are
posting about the riotious mobs, the girls from Seattle, the wild
animals, and your run-ins with the cops, the "director's cut" of
stories must be amazing!

Take care.

All I can say is that those were about the TAMEST of the quotes I was
privy to over the holidays regarding the Blunderbus experience...

:)
