Do what thou wilt shall be the whole of the Law,

If you are interested in contributing to Thelemapedia, but don't know
how or think it's too hard or takes too much time, here are some facts
to inspire you:

1) You do not have to already be knowledgeble on a topic to write about
it. In fact, this is a great opportunity for you to learn something
new. Remember, this is an encyclopedia, a repository of existing
knowledge, not a place to test new ideas or theories (necessarily).
Grab a copy of Book 4 or Magick Without Tears and write out clear
summaries of what Crowley said. Many of his books are online, too:
Book 4: http://www.hermetic.com/crowley/libers/lib4.html
Confessions: http://www.hermetic.com/crowley/confess/
Magick Without Tears: http://www.hermetic.com/crowley/mwt_contents.html

2) "Filling in" is just as useful as new topics. If you don't feel
comfortable starting a new article from scratch, check out what other
people have written and fill in the many blanks. Many articles are
incomplete and could use your additions. This page will show you a list
of potentially short and incomplete items:
http://www.thelemapedia.org/index.php/Special:Shortpages

3) Grab articles from other open-source encyclopedias. There are a lot
of them out there, and as long as you properly reference the source,
you can even post their articles verbatim. This is a great way to get
topics started. This page will show you how to do that, and also gives
a good list of open-source websites:

For a brief introduction on how to contribute, read this how-to
article:
http://www.thelemapedia.org/index.php/Contribute_to_Thelemapedia

Although we are building a nice catalog of articles, we have only just
begun to scratch the surface. Here are just a few of the topics that
need entries:

* Concepts in Thelema: Aeon of Horus, Night of Pan, City of the
Pyramids, Secret Chiefs
* Personalities: Carl Kellner, Theodor Reuss, Rose Crowley, Leah
Hersig, Kenneth Anger
* Thelemic godforms: Nuit, Babalon, Choronzon, Hadit, Ra-Hoor-Khuit
* Magick: alchemy, sigils, astrology, astral projection, ritual drugs,
evocation, Chaos magick
* Sacred Sex: phallus, yoni, sex magick, tantra

PS. If you are an "oldie" on Thelemapedia, be sure to help out the new
folks when you see them contribute, especially with formatting and
referencing sources.
