New issue 232 by sam...@gmail.com: Re-rips and overwrites existing songs,
instead of skipping
http://code.google.com/p/thelastripper/issues/detail?id=232
Description of the issue:
Settings (that might be important):
Skip existing music is enabled.
Skip new music is disabled.
Save Mode: Buffer in memory and after save to disc
Music directory: F:\Incoming
Filename Pattern: Last.fm\%a - %t
All playlists disabled.
Quarantine disabled.
MP3tunes disabled.
If the file already exists, the application re-rips and overwrites the
existing file, instead of skipping the song.
If Save Mode is changed to "Save directly to disc", the application crashes
upon tuning in.
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Login, tune in, and rip a song.
2. Wait for the application to try to rip the song again.
3. Check the timestamp on the existing file; it will change once the song
is ripped the 2nd time.
What is the expected output?
Existing songs/files should be automatically skipped.
