First Function of Khatik Samaj Foundation in India International Centre Annexe, New Delhi

felicitation Function on 02 nd July,2006 (Sunday) to honour the award
to the brilliant and successful youth of our Caste - Khatik under the
organization KHATIK SAMAJ FOUNDATION at India International Centre
Annexe, New Delhi. The Youth names who had been awarded in the function
- Miss Parul Sarwalia, who has been selected by NASA, USA to visit
the NASA and submit a Project Report. Miss Parul Sarwalia is the only
student from Scheduled Caste from India, who will visit NASA from 22 nd
July to 08th August, 2006. She will stay in Houston in this period.
Second one is Miss Aruna Rajoria, IAS (2005) presently in the training
at Mussorie. Another recipient of the award is Shri Anoop Khinchi,
Rajasthan Administrative Service (2005). Miss Parul Sarwalia is the
resident of Karnal (Haryana). Miss Aruna Rajoria and Shri Anoop Khinchi
are the resident of Jaipur. We have organized this programme on the
theory of Caste Identity of Shri V.T. Rajshekar, Editor, Dalit Voice,
Bangalore. We have presented one trophy on the name of Baba Saheb Dr.
B. R. Ambedkar National Award to the above mentioned youth in this
function. Hon'ble Shri Omkar Mal Solanki, Management Consultant &
Arbitrator, and Former Executive Director, NFL & Former Director,
NTC, Ministry of Textiles, Govt. of India, had Presided over the
Function. Shri Mala Ram Gangwal, MLA, Madipur, New Delhi, Shri Tej
Singh Dayama, Businessman and Social Activist, New Delhi, and Shri
Vinod Rajoria, Businessman, New Delhi was the Chief Guest of the
function. The function was very much successful. It was my first
attempt to organize this type of Function in New Delhi. The function
was attended by 60 people including women and children. First of all I
briefed the people about the Caste, and What is Caste? And the
Importance of Caste. Whether the Caste can be eliminated from the
Indian Society in the future? or Caste will exist in future also in
India. I also speak on the life and works of Mahatma Jyoti Rao Phuley
and Savitri Bai Phuley. About their movement and achievement. I also
spoke about the life and mission of Baba Saheb Dr. B.R. Ambedkar.. In
the midst of the function Hon'ble Shri Omkar Mal Solanki presented
Baba Saheb Dr. B.R. Ambedkar National Award to Miss Parul Sarwalia,
Shri Mala Ram Gangwal, MLA presented Baba Saheb Dr. B.R. Ambedkar
National Award to Shri Anoop Khinchi, RAS and Shri Tej Singh Dayama
presented Baba Saheb Dr. B.R. Ambedkar National Award trophy to Shri
Ramesh Pareva, ( Maternal Uncle ) on behalf of Miss Aruna Rajoria,
IAS,2005. The prominent speakers of the function were (1) Shri Jagmohan
Panwar, Writer, Social Worker and presently President of Dr. B.R.
Ambedkar Sabha, Gurgaon, Haryana (2) Shri Om Prakash Buswala (3) Shri
Inder Kumar Choula, Member, Scheduled Caste Welfare Board, Govt. of New
Delhi. (4) Shri Ashok Kumar Nirwan of Syndicate Bank, New Delhi (5)
Shri Mam Chand Rewaria (6) Shri Tej Singh Dayama (7) Shri D.D. Banswal,
All India Radio, New Delhi (8)Shri Ramesh Preva, New Delhi (9) Shri
Shyam Lal Sarwalia, Karnal ( Father of Miss Parul Sarwalia) (10) Shri
Rajinder Kumar Ratwaya, Rohtak.
I have also announced in the function that our Khatik Samaj Foundation
will give one Baba Saheb Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Scholarship to the
meritorious students who will get good marks in 12th Standard,
throughout my life. The amount of the scholarship will be Rs5,000/-
(Rupees five thousand only). This scholarship is on the pattern of Dr.
Ambedkar Scholarship started by Dr. Benjamin Kaila and Dr. Laxmi
Narayan Berwa, USA. This announcement gave a very good message among
the people present in the function. All the people appreciated this
idea. One recipient Shri Anoop Khinchi, RAS seconded my idea and he has
given his consent to this scholarship. Shri Joginder Singh Buswala, New
Delhi also given his consent to give one Scholarship. In the last I
gave Vote of Thanks to all the people of the Society. At the end
