I was just reading through your blog, and I have to say, I enjoyed it!  Compared to a lot of the other blogs I've read, yours is actually fun to read.  Thanks!

 

Anyway, a few months ago, Amnesty International asked me to help them to get more people involved with a new campaign to get Obama to support human rights issues across Africa during his forthcoming term.  I'm a big fan of Obama, and I think he'll do many good things for the world.  However, certain regions in Africa really struggle without foreign aid, so I think it would be great to solidify the support from the US early on, and I think that this will be a superb way to do so.

Amnesty International would like to work with a few respected bloggers to help spread information about the campaign and to support the cause, and I immediately suggested your site.  If you were to take part, you'd receive a pack full of Amnesty International stuff, a blogger badge and a lot more.  More importantly, Amnesty will highlight in their monthly Online Community newsletter, or even blog about, any posts or discussions that you write regarding the Obama campaign.  This is a great way to build international awareness for your site, as Amnesty have a massive list of readers of their newsletters and blogs.
