No One Cares Like Jesus
"Cast all your care upon him; for he cares for you." 1 Peter 5:7
Charlie Weigle was an Evangelist who traveled from city to city conducting revivals. One day when he arrived back at his home after holding a revival, Dr. Charlie found a note from his wife. The note said, "I've done without things long enough. From now on, I'm getting all I can out of life. Good-bye." His wife was intent on leaving him for the pleasures of the world. Charlie loved his wife and begged her not to go, but she left him anyway.
Charlie was despondent and one day when looking down into the lake, the devil tempted him saying, "Charlie, walk off the pier into the lake." But, the Lord seemed to say, "Charlie, I care for you!"
Charlie listened to the words of the Lord and he wrote the old gospel song with these beautiful words of truth.
"No one every cared for me like Jesus,
There's no other friend as kind as He
No one else could take the sin and darkness from me,
O, how much He cares for me."
Jesus cares for us too, with a love that will not fail. Regardless of what you may be facing or how you feel life has treated you, there is one who cares. There is no other friend who is as compassionate and kind as our blessed Lord and Savior.
May we always be obedient enough to obey the Lord and have the strength to resist sin as we walk through this world. We give thanks unto the Lord for His loving kindness and compassions given as we daily seek to know Him better and follow the leading of His Holy Spirit closely.

that you are all alone or blue
do you think there is no one,
who really cares for you?
Are you needing a friend
who'll be with you along life's way?
Just look up to the Savior
call on Him and pray.
He is the one who always cares
your every burden He will bear
When you call upon His name,
You'll find His presence is always there.
No one could ever care more
than our precious Savior and friend
seek His face today, as to Him you draw nigh,
you have a true friend whose love will never end.
