Note Book Distribution Drive (NBD) - 2013

Dear friends,
Around this time last year we went to 16 different schools, near and far... as far as Yadgir and Bijapur.
We gave away close to 16000 Note books to more than 3000 Children.
We spent close to Rs 1.5 Lakh Which also included iPledge spending for the books and School kits that were not sponsored by our partners.
And got back in return some priceless smiles, love and good wishes. Some of you might have been a part of this joyous act of giving. Some of you had to back off at the very last minute for some reason or the other. Some others might have thought let's make it next time...
Well, the next time is here, and this time we got more greedy and are looking to up the bars.
We will go to Eleven schools.
We will give away more than 17000 books to more than 3000 kids.
And win back more smiles, love and good wishes. Along with the help we are getting from Infosys and SiCon Design Tech. With the targets going higher. We need the help of some generous volunteers and individual donors to spare some time and money and make this event like las time a GREAT success!!!
How can you help us?
1. By Volunteering in distributing the stationery at the various schools.
2. We are planning the best possible and the most economical ways to transport the kits to the destination. Please let us know if any of your kin can provide us logistics support, it would be really helpful.
3. We are also looking at taking up the expenses of distributing the books to schools that were not approved by the Infy CSR team, in that case a bit of monetary help will also be needed from you to reach our target.
4. Or simply share it with your friends, family and colleagues.
Tentative date of the drive will be during first week of June 2013.
