Hi all,
Last week Slum opposite to National Games Village (Ejipura) was demolished. Around 1500 families(more than 4000 people) lost their homes. Irrespective of whether the Demolition was lawfully correct or not, Poor people are on the streets and that is a big problem.
No rehabilitation of the slum dwellers has been done. People are on the streets, there are women and children of all age, People with Disabilities young and old.
Lawyers and social activists are dealing with the Court and officials. As of now support is required by all the general public to make some temporary arrangements. Food, Water etc . has to be provided to them.
For this Funds and volunteers are required. I request people to come up and contribute whatever it is that you can and it will also be really helpful if you can volunteer.
