Dear friends,
As most of you know, we at iPledge Foundation organize Note Book Distribution Drive(NBD) every year during the month of June and July[when the school reopens].
I am very happy to inform that the same event will be conducted even this year under the name NBD 2014.
With your financial ,moral and volunteering support we were able to successfully complete NBD for the last three years.I hope and appeal all of you to extend your continuous support in this small effort to support the school kids.
The govt provides Text books to the Govt school but not the Notebooks, because of this in most of the places the kids find it very hard to buy the Notebooks and stationaries required [There were instances where the schools authorities have told us the children re-use the old calender to write].
Keeping this in mind the NBD 2014 mainly focuses on providing Note Books and Stationary to Kids belonging to Govt Schools. We have also made it a point to identify such a Govt schools which is devoid of support from any other NGO , so that the support goes to the deserving.
With each time we are trying to reach more children and schools under the NBD, last time we had distributed around 26,000 Note Books to around 26 different schools and two orphanages, this time we are planning to touch 30000 Notebooks including the Stationaries for the children, for this to happen we need your kind support, Please do contact us to be a volunteer during the event.
