We are Glad to share the plan for this weekend’s note book distribution drive with you on 22th June 2013 (Saturday.. Weekend J).
It is a wonderful opportunity to meet, interact, share and help the school kids and encourage them to study well.
The plan is as below:

Team 2 has booked the train tickets and is all set to leave Bangalore on 20th June night.
Team 1 is distributing books in Bangalore and needs more volunteers.
Please be part of this drive and be the part of the smiles of those innocent kids.
Share it with your friends, family and colleagues and bring more volunteers.
iPledge Foundation trust expresses heartfelt gratitude to all its volunteers and donors for the amazing support shown on us, we will promise you that this donation drive will bring thousands of smiles on those innocent school kids. We will be more happy to see if more volunteers join us on this event and help us make this event a huge success. Looking forward to meet you guys.
Please do stay tuned, we will keep you informed regarding the next set of note book distribution scheduled on the coming week ends and the volunteer requirements as things start falling in place.
Also to give an insight on the cost iPledge funded for this exercise is nearly 1,50,000 for procuring 11000+ books for 10+ schools across Karnataka. Depending on your support we would like to increase the number of schools, books and students.
We ordered books from NobleExchange (an recycled book production house) and MSIL for this exercise.

Dear all,
I am part of a Team “iPledge Foundation Trust”, a social volunteering Group, working towards providing basic education to the needy.
It is hard to believe that almost an year has gone by, since we did this noble event (iPledge Note Book distribution) in 2012.
Here is a glimpse of the fun and satisfaction that we had last year!
That was just one leg of the journey.
Last year, we distributed Free Notebooks to Kids of Government Schools in three phases. Spread over different regions around Bangalore, Channapattana, Bijapur, Yadgir, Rannebennur. More than 3500 Children reaped the benefits of free notebooks totaling to almost 18,000 books costing us almost 1.3 lakh.
It is time we start taking stock of things that we have to do to make the upcoming iPledge Note book Distribution-2013 much more fruitful and effective.
This time we are reaching out to even more school children up to 3,897 ( 18,891 books) and win back more smiles, love and good wishes….
You can also find the attached details of the schools, location, number of children, number of books we are planning to distribute.
How can you help us?
1. By Volunteering in distributing the stationery at the various schools.
2. We are planning the best possible and the most economical ways to transport the kits to the destination. Please let us know if any of your kin can provide us logistics support, it would be really helpful.
3. A bit of monetary help will also be needed from you to reach our target.
4. Or simply share it with your friends, family and colleagues.
Tentative date of the visit to schools will be on 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th week ends of June 2013.
