Hi Friends,

We have successfully completed the Note Book Distribution Drive(NBD) 2013. Every year we are trying to reach out to more number of schools ,this year we gave around 26,000 Note Books to around 26 different schools and two orphanages.

We would like to assure all the donors and volunteers that we have identified schools which are not helped by any NGOs , nor they have proper infrastructure , that the help has gone to the deserving children.

During our NBD journey we came across stories of children using calendars as Books for writing because they can't afford to buy books , a teacher walking 5km from a bus stop every day to reach school in a remote place at Raichur , students at Lalghatta [Channapatna] school securing 100% pass result in SSLC examination , Girls studying in high school being forced to marry despite having interest in continuing education.

The event which was mostly joyful also opened our eyes to the state of primary education system in our rural areas.

We would like to thank all the donors , volunteers , well wishers for your support, without which the NBD 2013 wouldn't had been possible.
