Dear all,

It is that time of the year when the schools are all resuming and children are getting ready for another year of academics. But there will be a few children who will need a bit of help for them to realise the dream we all call school. One of the main reasons of school drop outs are due to basic stationery not being affordable to many of the children. We at iPledge foundation, have set a tradition of helping them in our own small way by providing free notebooks to such children. As many of you might be aware we have had successful notebook distribution drives (NBD as we know it) for the last three years.

Our main focus area are schools far away from the opulence of cities, we reach out to kids in the rural areas who get very less attention from the usual CSR activities. Last year, we gave away close to 26000 books across 26 different schools with the total cost of the event crossing the Rs 2 lakh mark. 

Given this background, here is how you can be a part of this. 

1. Be a volunteer, and join us for the event. We will need a lot of help from many of you, if we have to plan and execute the event.

2. Donate, like we mentioned earlier, the cost of the event last year was in excess of Rs 2 lakh, and we can only expect this to increase year after year. So, please help us out here. 

3. Spread the word about the activity, so that, even if you would not be able to participate, your friends can join us. Remember the phrase, "the more the merrier"? :)
