Hi Music Lovers,

 

Just wanted to drop you a line and update you on what's going on at The Hillside Cafe.

 

This Saturday (11/16/13) we have a great show with two stellar acts:  Davey O  and The Amigos Band.

 

2013 Kerrville Folk Festival Finalist Davey O is a singer/songwriter from Buffalo NY.   Wonderful heartfelt lyrics and a voice to match.

You need to watch them to hear/see what they do because I don't think I could come up with words that would adequately describe it!!

It's going to be a great evening of music you don't want to miss!  Doors open @ 7:30 and the music starts at 8:00 pm.  $15

Just a head's up - December's show is our annual concert for Advent & Christmas with doorjam.  Held in the historica Santuary at the church it's on a Sunday afternoon - a very family friendly event - with a free will offering taken instead of admission.  And there's a soup supper afterwards to thank you for your support and patronage.   December 22 @ 4PM

 

Then in February we're very excited to offer a special event:  An Evening with Wreckless Eric and Amy Rigby, February 15, 2014 @ 8PM  $20

It's getting awesome reviews!!  We are going to keep the attendance low - no more than 100 people so it will feel more like a house concert.  We'll have tickets available for sale starting this Saturday.

Gosh, I hope she sings "Dancing with Joey Ramone!!"
