Dear colleagues,

UNFPA and UNESCO are supporting MOHA and Youth Union to establish a core youth group to support and advocate youth law revision. This joint initiative was initiated in the technical meeting on proposal to revise youth law and supported by MOHA and Youth Union recently. This diverse group of youth representatives is expected to work together during the revision of Youth Law in 2018 – 2019 to ensure youth inputs will be timely integrated into official documents and draft law during the process.

We now start the recruitment of youth representatives. Kindly help us share it with your networks of youth and adolescent. The deadline is April 15, 2018. All candidates have to apply by filling in the online form.

The selected representatives will be attending a training on policy development, youth policies in Vietnam,  data collection and advocacy skills. A youth forum will be followed up with the attendance of 70 young people to provide inputs for statistical indicators and proposed outline of revised youth law. The training and forum will happen from 4-7 May, 2018 in Ho Chi Minh city. All costs will be covered by organizers.

If you need further assistance, kindly let us know.

Thank you and bests,

Tien
