Ok i'd like to share one of my experiences. I've had many in the past,
but this one far outweighs any other paranormal experience i've had.
In 2003, my brother Barry died of bowel cancer at the age of 29 years.
He was diagnosed in July 2003 and given six months to live. A few days
after we were given the news, I asked if there was anything he wanted
me to do. He said no, but I pushed and was able to determine a few of
his last wishes. One was to have his story publicized. Now, I have a
good friend in the media and called him to tell him of my brother's
plight. He promised to run a story on him....
In the meantime, I asked my brother how he felt about marrying his
childhood sweetheart. He said he would have loved to, but never had
the money to do it. I told him not to worry, i'd get that sorted. I
called a registrar and explained the situation. I told her I wanted
him married at his hospital bed and she said that was highly unusual,
but could be done (for a price). I told her I didn't care about the
price, just set a date....she gave me August 21st. I called round the
family and told them to be ready for a wedding in about four weeks,
then I called my brother and told him to get a suit ordered, he was
getting married!
The next morning, he called me back to ask if there was any way I
could bring the wedding forward, he didn't think he was gonna make it.
I told him I'd have that sorted...and called the registrar what was
going on. I cried to her as I told her he didn't think he was gonna
live that long, and she said not to worry....she would be there the
following day to marry them!! Also, she said not to worry about the
price of the wedding, she would pay for it herself.
So, it was a mad rush, but my brother and his girlfriend were married
1st August 2003. His three yr old daughter and five yr old son
attended, as well as the rest of my family.
But, I'm housebound....been that way for 18 yrs, and couldn't attend
(he lives in a different town and I wanted it to be his special day) I
didn't want anything to go wrong on his day. During the ceremony, the
media turned up and took photos and interviewed everyone for the
story...his second wish fulfilled.
His last wish was to see me. Because i'm his only sister and couldn't
make the wedding, plus the fact I was fulfilling his last wishes, he
wanted to see me. So it was arranged and he came to see me,
accompanied by nurses and my other brothers, on 15th August. I was so
scared of seeing him...but he came.
The following morning, he died. Three weeks after being diagnosed. I
was devastated. His final wish was to have his ashes spread on my
dad's grave...and I made sure that happened.
Around this time, my youngest son started suffering from headaches. He
was 13 years old and doctors diagnosed migraines due to teenage years.
I wasn't convinced, but after tests, they told me nothing was serious
so I took their word for it. The headaches went on, and on, and on. He
missed school because they were bad, then they'd improve and he'd go
weeks without a headache before they came back with a vengeance.
For the next three years, I was getting a lot of paranormal activity
in the house. I was seeing shadows constantly, hearing voices, and
stuff was going missing only to be found in weird places. I honestly
thought I was losing it.
Then in June 2006 the shadows got darker and more frequent. I'd hear
whispers, voices, bumps and thumps and many other things while my
family were asleep. At the same time, my son's headaches worsened and
by now I was convinced something was zapping his energy. By the end of
the month, there was so much going on in my home, I was at my wits
end. I'm atheist and decided enough was enough....and called a priest.
I explained what had been going on and he told me he needed permission
from his superior to perform an exorcism. At last, I had someone who
understood what I was going through! But it would take the priest
quite some time to get the permission...
Around 3am on June 29th I was sitting at my computer, when I saw
another shadow from the corner of my eye. This time the shadow was
pitch black and I watched it walk across my bedroom floor. I say
walked, because I saw the gap between its legs as it strode across. I
was mesmerised...but not afraid. I got the strangest feeling that it
was someone coming to warn me of something, but eventually put it down
to just another shadow.
The following morning, I woke to find my son sitting downstairs with
his head in his hands, almost in tears with the pain. I lifted his
head and almost fell back in fright....my dead brother stared back at
me!! I freaked, but kept my cool at the same time so as not to scare
my son....and ran out of the room to call an ambulance. We got him
rushed to hospital where an MRI was performed and they gave us the
news that my son had a 'massive brain tumour'.
After being transferred to a bigger hospital, the docs there told me
my son was very lucky. Three more days and he wouldn't have made it.
Emergency surgery was performed the following morning and my son's
life was saved....(there's more to it than just this but i've gone on
long enough lol)
Anyway, I really believe the 'shadow' that came through the night
before was my brother Barry. Because I hadn't taken notice, he came
through the following morning and put his face into my son's face.
I'll never accept any other explanation. What I saw that morning was
my brother, not my son. And I truly believe he came to help because
i'd fulfilled his last wishes...
Hope I didn't bore you too much, but I have other paranormal
experiences I hope to share in future. Thanks for listening!
PS This story is 100% true. I have my son's brain tumour story printed
in the newspapers (can be found online as well as my brother's story)
but naturally I never let on about seeing shadows or anything...there
is more to this 'shadows' but i'll share that at some other time xxx
