How old is your son Shelly? I don't want to frighten you but my son
smoked that stuff too before they diagnosed him. He claimed it helped
him cope with the pain. Please, please try to get him to see a doctor.
It's not worth the risk.

If you can, check his balance. Ask him to balance on one leg. If he
wobbles all over, has blurred eyesight and has numbness in his hands
or feet, demand he see a doctor.. don't ask, demand. Those are classic
symptoms of something going on and he needs medical attention
immediately.

That said, i'm not a doctor or a medical person. It could very well be
simply migraines. But he still needs to be checked over properly.
Migraines show the same kind of symptoms, but the actual migraine only
lasts a couple days. They can recur a few days later...but if they're
ongoing (every day for months) then your son really should see someone
to get a definate diagnosis.

This is one reason I went public with my story. I want parents to
realise that doctors aren't always right.

You're all in my thoughts and prayers. Please try to get him seen as
soon as you possibly can xxxx

Why is he smoking weed so heavily.....does it help him or is it just a
habit?

I dunno about Shelly's son SolitudeDude but when my son was smoking
it, it helped to numb the pain from the headaches. My son smoked it
for years because the doctors were ignoring us...and painkillers do
absolutely nothing when headaches are so bad.

That said, it is habit forming and he really needs to get medical
advice on his headaches rather than sitting there smoking that stuff
because in the end, he will become very paranoid and have mood swings.
My son still suffers bouts of mood swings, but doesn't smoke it
anymore and he was using for over three years.

I hope Shelly's son went to the doctor today and hope it turns out to
be nothing xxx
