December Local Congress : The HALO

Hello all,

With my exams coming to an end, I have nothing to do but be with you guys for the rest of the year. Exactly 13 days left for this year to get over and I really want each one of us to get together and well, just be together. 

December LCong is the time when we are going to be able to give in our everything. It is going to be one hell of a conference. It is like a closure for the year 2013 and us moving towards a new beginning, towards 2014. It all begins with each and every one from The HALO attending this conference together coz they are not just going to be together as a department, they are going to come together for this LC. Not to mention the amount of learning they are going to get and of course all the fun they are going to have!

Before I go ahead, each one of you have to make sure we have 100% attendance from our department. Aish, you have bigger things to look forward to. So, do not feel sad about not attending this one.

I hope I am not forgetting anyone.

11 HAVE NOT REGISTERED UNTIL NOW. I SEE NO REASON FOR THEM TO NOT ATTEND.

Call each and every one of them and convince! If I need to talk to anyones' parents or anyone, let me know! I will!

We just have 3 registrations from our department until now :(

December LCong is going to be crazy, guys. I do not need to mention it I know. So, PLEASSEEEE take this up seriously and make everyone register.

I have a lot of things planned! Let's finish this year in style!!

First things first, our Department hoodie. Well, we can get tee shirts but it is so cold! lol and yes hoodies look way cooler. Can someone take up the responsiblity of designing the hoodie? I know this place where we can get hoodies for cheap. Okay quality ones for like Rs 350/400. Hope that is fine :) and the printing won't take more than 150. So, yes! we will try to fit in everything within Rs 500. If it is still a lot we can stick with tee shirts. Not a problem. Let's finalise on this ASAP.

Coming back to the registrations, get everyone to register. I am attaching this parental invitation letter. In case any of their parents are not allowing, edit this one with their name and other details and mail their parents. There is one that I have already prepared for Varsha, PFA.

The details of the conference:

- The conference will commence in the evening, around 4/5 PM. This is an approximate time, may change. Not much of a difference.

- The whole department will be going together in a cab. Anokhs, this is the first time for everyone except you. Please make sure everyone is going together and is at the venue on time. I will be at the venue from earlier in the morning so I will not be able to travel with you guys :( but just make sure that the cab is booked well in advance and everyone is on time :)

- The delegation fee is Rs 2500 including everything. Now I know that it might seem a lot but it Leonia! Even I think its too much but let's try to co operate as we don't really have any other option. PAY THE DELEGATION FEE AT THE OFFICE BY 20TH DECEMBER, FRIDAY: 6 PM MAX!
