Simultaneous charge & synch data with Apple 30 pin connector

Is anyone interested in assisting with the challenge to simultaneously charge & transfer data via a 30 pin connector to an iPad?
I have a few devices which may suggest the solution with a little reverse engineering.
Your assistance will be greatly appreciated.
